Most of our products are started from seed on our farm. Some are planted into greenhouse trays, others go directly into the field. These seeds germinate and grow for 9-12 months. Many plugs are ready to ship out at this time, some smaller plants are transplated into the field to put on more growth. Sometimes they are potted for landscape or grafting use.
Our field planted seeds will stay in the field for 1-3 years. They may be dug up and shipped out, or transplanted for an additional year to grow bigger and stronger. Small trees that are dug are sometimes potted up.
