Native to Korea’s forests with high rainfall and mild temperatures. Smooth bark on small tree to 60’. Needles are flat, dark green and spiraled on the stem. Used ornamentally and for Christmas trees. Notorious for heavy production small, erect, barrel shaped purple/blue cones.
