Picea pungens: Colorado Spruce (Band Pots)

Slow growing conifers from the Rocky Mountains have colors ranging from green to silver blue. Needles are stiff with age, the form is dense and pyramidal. Beautiful and manageable for all but the smallest back yards. Trees that come from seed will have a range of colors. Grafting is required to provide consistent deep blue colors, weeping, miniature or ball forms.
